NEL Fund Managers is a North East investment firm that has been employee-owned through an Employee Ownership Trust since 2016. It manages the NPIF II NEL Smaller Loans and NEL Debt Finance funds within the £660m Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II, which covers the whole of the North of England. Its Leeds deals include backing HCIG, parent of recruitment business Stratum Partners.
