The UK’s largest gym operator, headquartered in Leeds.
PureGym operates low-cost gyms across the UK and a number of international markets, with more than 500 sites in total. It was founded in 2009 by Peter Roberts and runs its group head office from the Merrion Centre in Leeds city centre. Leonard Green & Partners bought the business in 2017 in a deal reported at £600m.
