Asclepius MedTech is developing Surgfit, a remote preoperative assessment system that combines a Class IIa biosensor chest patch with health questionnaires and a clinical dashboard. Led by chief executive Michael Morgan-Curran, it is backed by the NIHR and NLC’s European HealthTech Venture Builder, completed a 200-patient observational study in 2024 and won the Mayor of West Yorkshire’s Health Inequalities Challenge in June 2026.
