Careers in Leeds fair: new flagship event brings together three fairs on 3 November

Leeds City Council has announced a new Careers in Leeds fair that brings together three previously separate events into a single flagship showcase at the first direct arena on Tuesday 3 November 2026. The Leeds Digital Careers Fair, Leeds Creative Skills Festival, and SEND Next Choice Event will all merge into one cross-sector event, giving attendees access to the full breadth of career opportunities across the city in one place.

What the Careers in Leeds Fair Will Cover

The fair will be organised into dedicated sector zones covering construction, manufacturing and engineering, health and social care, early years and education, public services, digital, finance and professional services, hospitality, wholesale and retail, and creative and culture. That’s a deliberately broad spread, designed to appeal to people at all stages — whether they’re looking for a specific role, considering a career change, or exploring what’s out there.

Councillor Jonathan Pryor, Leeds City Council’s deputy leader and executive member for economy, transport and sustainable development, said:
