Leeds-based engineering consultancy Rappor has appointed experienced transport planner Matt Rudman as Director of Transport Planning, as it looks to accelerate growth and strengthen its presence in the city. The appointment comes as Leeds and the wider region place increasing emphasis on transport investment, connectivity and sustainable development.
Rudman will lead Rappor’s Leeds transport planning team, working across Yorkshire and the north east to support developments focused on creating more connected, equitable and liveable communities.
Three decades of regional transport expertise
Rudman brings more than 30 years of experience in transport planning and engineering, having worked on a wide range of infrastructure and development projects across the region. His expertise spans strategic transport planning, development-led infrastructure and place-based approaches designed to unlock growth and improve quality of life.
At Rappor, he will work closely with the consultancy’s interdisciplinary teams to help clients bring forward schemes that align transport, regeneration and community outcomes.
