G&H Leeds secures two healthcare MEP contracts worth £16.3m with Elliott Group and HBC Construction, taking the Pudsey firm’s named contract pipeline past £36 million across healthcare and education

Leeds-headquartered MEP service provider G&H Leeds has won two healthcare contracts worth a combined £16.3 million, strengthening the Pudsey firm’s position as one of the region’s leading mechanical, electrical, and public health specialists. The contracts have been secured with new client Elliott Group and existing client HBC Construction following competitive tenders. The wins take G&H Leeds’ named contract pipeline past £36 million, including the £7.8 million in education contracts with Wates and Tilbury Douglas that Leeds Today reported recently, and a £12 million MEP contract for Harrogate District Hospital’s new Day Care Surgery and Imaging Centre as part of the NHS New Hospital Programme. G&H employs a 200-strong team from its base on South Parade, Pudsey.

The two healthcare contracts were won through competitive tender processes. The Elliott Group contract represents a new client relationship for G&H, while the HBC Construction win extends an existing partnership. Both contracts are for full MEP design and build packages in healthcare settings, where G&H’s specialist experience in medical gas systems, theatre equipment, ultraclean ventilation, and clinical commissioning is directly relevant. The firm’s healthcare credentials include the £12 million Harrogate District Hospital contract with Morgan Sindall, delivering a new £50 million Day Care Surgery and Imaging Centre with two operating theatres, three x-ray rooms, an MRI suite, and a day care ward. That project features air source heat pumps, ultraclean ventilation canopies, and resilient power supply systems.
