Where the Next Generation Comes From

The firms promoting and hiring need a talent pipeline, and Leeds Beckett University‘s Law Clinic is a significant part of it. Since 2022, students have helped clients on more than 15,000 occasions through partnerships with Support Through Court, Sue Ryder Hospices, and the Hunslet Club. The Law Clinic gives students hands-on experience of real legal issues alongside professionals from firms including Levi Solicitors, Jordans Solicitors, and Switalskis. Dr Rachel Dunn said many of the strongest partnerships with local law firms have been built through former students who established careers before returning to support the next generation.
