Victoria Leeds continues to attract first-to-region retailers as AS Colour takes 4,351 sq ft lease.
New Zealand premium clothing brand AS Colour has signed for a 4,351 sq ft space in the Victoria Quarter, marking the brand’s Yorkshire debut. The signing at Victoria Leeds coincides with the opening of jewellery and gifting retailer Lisa Angel, which has launched its first Northern store in a 577 sq ft unit in Victoria Gate. Both lettings were announced by Redical, the destination’s owner and operator, which acquired the estate in 2022.
Who’s Arriving
AS Colour was founded in Auckland in 2005 and has built a global business around premium blank clothing — high-quality basics designed to be worn plain or used as a canvas for printing and embroidery. The brand has 28 retail locations worldwide, with its only UK store currently in Shoreditch, London. Leeds will be part of a UK expansion alongside new stores in Bristol and Newcastle, taking its British footprint to four. The Victoria Quarter unit positions the brand alongside existing premium tenants including John Lewis, Harvey Nichols, Mulberry, and Louis Vuitton.
Lisa Angel is a Norfolk-based jewellery and accessories brand founded in 2004, offering personalised jewellery, accessories, and homeware. The Victoria Gate store is only its second location outside Norfolk and Suffolk, following a recent opening in Solihull. The brand also announced the signing of Randox Health, a private diagnostics clinic taking 734 sq ft in the Victoria Quarter for its first standalone Yorkshire location — a letting that further diversifies the destination’s tenant mix beyond traditional retail.
“AS Colour is the latest in a string of retailers to select Victoria Leeds for their Yorkshire debut, following the likes of Lisa Angel, ALO, and Finisterre. Our premium tenant mix and strategic leasing approach are what continue to attract a varied selection of international retailers, as they seek meaningful expansion in locations that generate success.”

The Pattern Behind the Signings
The AS Colour and Lisa Angel signings continue a run of first-to-region openings that Redical has used to reposition Victoria Leeds since acquiring it in 2022. Recent Yorkshire debuts include ALO, the premium activewear brand which took 6,707 sq ft for its second UK store outside London, as well as Finisterre and Nobody’s Child. The strategy is to attract brands that are expanding outside London for the first time and offer them a premium destination in a city.
The destination sits within a wider regeneration picture. The adjacent Eastgate Quarter phase two is being led by Torsion Group and Khalbros in a joint venture expected to invest around £1 billion in a new city-centre neighbourhood with housing, student accommodation, hospitality, and retail. That development pipeline adds to the long-term case for brands committing to the area.
Why this matters for Leeds
AS Colour, ALO, Finisterre, Nobody’s Child, Lisa Angel, and now Randox Health have all chosen Victoria Leeds for their regional debut. That pattern signals how national and international brands view Leeds as a retail market, strong enough to justify premium space and long-term leases.![]()
